Local Christian band Offering is adding some jingle jangle to July. Though hot summer days aren't exactly conducive to sleigh bells a-ringing, the group will be performing songs off its 2006 Christmas album "Comfort and Joy," which includes 14 tracks ranging from the whimsical "Walking in a Winter Wonderland" to the moving "Ave Maria." Visitors are asked to donate canned food and other non-perishable items to help relieve victims of summer hunger. The Offering will perform before a Braves double-header at the Diamond on Wednesday, July 25 at 4:45 p.m. Guests who bring four or more food items will receive a free ticket to a future Braves game. On Saturday, July 28, the Offering is holding a concert from 1-9 p.m. at the Positive Vibe Café. The concert is free; tickets to the Braves game are $7. 785-7824 or visit www.offeringband.com.
