Chris Brown Runs It.

night04_chris_brown_100.jpg
While Usher and Justin Timberlake once were considered heirs to the gloved one, Tappahannock's Chris Brown might have the deed to the Neverland Valley Ranch. While he doesn't have the vocal gifts of J.T., M.J. or Usher, Brown's enthusiastic performances leave crowds in a state of shock. If he can stay away from pet monkeys and Disneyland, this young man might turn out to be something special. Brown will be joined on the Up Close and Personal Holiday Exclusive Tour by former 13-year-old rap prodigy Bow Wow (now 20) and Soulja Boy, whose misogynistic ditty "Crank That" has all the tykes dancing on the playground. The show at the Richmond Coliseum is Tuesday, Jan. 29, at 7 p.m. $38.75-$98.75. 262-8100 or visit www.ticketmaster.com.
