Celting Out at Ashland Coffee & Tea

Enter the Haggis is a Celtic rock band, a hybrid of traditional Irish music and the modern sounds of rock and pop. The band has steadily built a devoted following over the years and just released "Northhampton (Live)," its second live LP. The group's also filmed a PBS special and recently appeared on "Live With Regis and Kelly." The band's tin whistle- and fiddle-laden music is substantially more appealing than the Scottish dish its name references. ETH serves up rock Celtic style at Ashland Coffee & Tea Wednesday, Jan. 9, at 8 p.m. $20-$25. 798-1702.
