It just doesn’t get any stone-cold foxier in the local DJ scene then this trio of crate-digging local ladies who go by the stage names DJ Mixie (Mary Silcox, there’s a pretty good song written about her by Eddie P and the Big East), Sister Goldenhaze (Sara Gossett, straight from the pages of a ’60s mod fashion magazine) and Area Woman (Eliza Childress, local artist extraordinaire who could make R. Crumb fall to the ground and latch onto her legs, crying).
