Seattle’s Brandi Carlile and her fiery band never fail to rouse a crowd with their timeless brand of roadhouse folk rock. Since the release of her self-titled debut in 2005, Carlile has evolved from introspective singer and songwriter to fiery frontwoman in the tradition of musical trailblazers such as Bonnie Raitt and Lucinda Williams. Expect the set to lean heavily on songs from her latest album, “Bear Creek,” with a smattering of old favorites and a cover or two. Carlile and company raise heaven and hell with the Lumineers at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden on Friday, June 29, at 5:30 p.m. $25-$45. groovininthegarden.net.
