That none of these acts exactly jives with the Hackensaw Boys' stylish-yet-down-home Americana doesn't necessarily matter. The Boys have a ton of enthusiasm and a band bio longer than a T.S. Eliot poem to prove it. They release their sophomore CD, "Keep It Simple," with a live show Friday night (Jan. 31) with Jackass Flats at Alley Katz, starting at 10. $10. — wayne
