From Nassau County, N.Y., music collective Bomb the Music Industry features a constantly changing roster of members under the leadership of songwriter and producer Jeff Rosenstock. Known for its do-it-yourself, punk ethic, Bomb the Music Industry regularly distributes its music free online, offers free stencils and paint for fans to create T-shirts and gives them a chance to perform their own songs onstage. While the blend of musical styles is anchored in ska and punk, genres such as synth pop and hardcore also are present. The group often is compared with eclectic bands such as the Blue Meanies, Fishbone and Catch-22. The band announced this year that its U.S. tour likely would be its last so members could pursue other musical interests. Bomb the Music Industry performs at the Camel on Monday, Dec. 3, at 7 p.m. $8-$10. thecamel.org.
