Little Walter was a legendary blues sideman who is credited with laying the foundation for scores of harmonica players with his creative and expressive playing. While many of them took their cues from the master and kept on moving, Dennis Gruenling pays his respects with an album called "I Just Keep Lovin' Him: A Tribute to Little Walter." It's unknown how Walter, who died in 1968, would accept such an open declaration of man-love as the title displays, but he would likely be honored by Gruenling's emphatic playing. Gruenling's tour coincides with Little Walter's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this month. The harmonicist plays with Steve Guyger and Doug Deming at the Bleu Bistro on Wednesday, March 19, at 7 p.m. $10-$15. 750-1120.
