Don’t have a date for Valentine’s Day? Hate everything the holiday stands for? Or are you madly in love with your schnookums and don’t care who knows it? However you feel, celebrate Feb. 14 with WRIR at Cous Cous for the seventh annual Black Valentine’s Day, a night of music featuring local bands playing cover songs of love gone wrong. This year the Snowy Owls, Hot Dolphin and Jake Mayday play songs about what bad love means to them. Rumor has it that the Snowy Owls will perform classic songs from My Bloody Valentine’s “Loveless” album. Black Valentine’s Day takes place at Cous Cous on Thursday, Feb. 14, at 10 p.m. Free. wrir.org.
