Black Keys and St. Vincent playing Richmond Coliseum

FM radio's favorite white blues duo, the Black Keys, are coming to the Richmond Coliseum with pop artist St. Vincent on Dec. 6.

The Black Keys are touring in support of their new album, "Turn Blue," which comes out May 13 on Nonesuch Records.

Tickets will range from $35 to $65 and go on sale May 16 at 10 a.m. through as well as at the Ford Box Office at Richmond Coliseum,, all Ticketmaster locations and charge-by phone at 1-800-745-3000.

XL-102 is offering pre-sale info next week plus you can listen to Tamo (we suppose that's a DJ) all next week to win tickets.

Also, the Black Keys play "Saturday Night Live" this weekend for the third time, where it is hoped they don't unveil any songs about cotton-picking a la Blues Hammer ("Ghost World") -- especially after last week's Leslie Jones uproar.

    • Why does it matter if they're four white (really three white and one Iranian-American) men?…

    • Great article. The second architecture firm mentioned out of Boston is actually Tappe, not Toppe.

    • I live in space and the lack of quality improv is really glaring.
