Composed of husband-and-wife duo Andrea and Pete Connolly, with cellist Josh Starmer, Birds and Arrows of Chapel Hill, N.C., intertwine a touch of Appalachian romance with indie-folk sweetness. Using delicate vocal harmony and low-key arrangements that exhibit a breezy, balanced elegance, marriage and music really seem a fine fit in the hands of this ensemble. Touring behind their newest full-length, “We’re Gonna Run,” Birds and Arrows perform at Ashland Coffee and Tea on Thursday, July 7, at 8 p.m. $10-$15. 794-6700.
