Bill Bellamy at the Funny Bone

After making the phrase "booty call" an acceptable part of modern language, Bill Bellamy created a solid career as a B-list comedian, actor and television show host. He's worked as a host on "MTV Jams," appeared in the films "Love Jones" and "Any Given Sunday" and stars on two comedy-based reality shows, "Last Comic Standing" on NBC and "Bill Bellamy's Who's Got Jokes" on TV One. Somehow, he's managed his time well enough to continue to tour as a stand-up comedian. Bellamy brings the jokes to the Funny Bone Comedy Club July 18-20. $22. 521-8900.
