It’s difficult to imagine a Richmond without Ed Trask. The artist and musician’s vibrant palette and deceptively simple style draw in the viewer to explore issues of spirituality, preservation and what it is that our consumer culture holds sacred. With roughly two-dozen murals adorning the likes of the Sidewalk Café and Kuba Kuba, Trask has left an indelible mark on Richmond’s visual persona.
