Apparently you can have too much fun at a Hanson show. Back in September at the National, during a tender ballad on piano called “Lulabelle,” Zac Hanson was interrupted by an allegedly drunken woman in the crowd who yelled, “I want to lick your taint!” The singer, now 28, stopped the song to respond: “Seriously? I’m singing this beautiful song about a little girl and this drunk bitch is screaming. … You can go home! I’m going to start that verse over so the rest of us can enjoy it.” Next thing you know a YouTube video had circulated and Richmond was getting mentioned on PerezHilton.com and “TMZ.” Oh well, at least the heckler didn’t yell “Freebird!” Creativity points.
