Five days after the Boston Marathon bombing, 9,500 runners participated in the Color Me Rad 5-kilometer race at Innsbrook on Saturday, which raised $30,000 for the Special Olympics and another $1,500 for the bombing victims. In these races, runners are hit with dye packets throughout the 3.1-mile course. Color Me Rad has 100 such races scheduled throughout the country and in Canada this year.
