Behind the Scenes: VMFA Hard Hat Tour

After years of planning, construction and fundraising, the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts puts the finishing touches on its massive expansion. About 15 months before the grand opening scheduled for May, when scaffolding was up and walls were bare, VMFA director Alex Nyerges (pictured) led Style Weekly on an exclusive hard-hat tour.
