A multicultural band in every sense, Miami's Bachaco offers a fusion of funky Latin flavor that embraces the eclectic sound of hip-hop beats and ska rhythms under an umbrella of reggae cool. With members hailing from Venezuela, Columbia and Jamaica, these laid-back musicians give high-energy shows with their mix of English and Spanish lyrics and grooves that can get any music lover dancing. Feel free to leave your Rosetta Stone at home when Bachaco plays Papa Ningo and Fiesta on Saturday, July 11, at 10 p.m. $10-$15. 344-9886. — Lauren Nicole Hill
