Fully recovered from her foot growth, she's back to dance. She's also earned a green belt in tae kwon do. And there's a celebration in her future. Aviva, who is proficient in Hebrew, is studying for her upcoming bat mitzvah.

"Aviva has resilience and determination," says Brown. "She has a natural talent and intelligence along with the ability to overcome adversity."
