Gallery5 is no stranger to showing off a wide array of experimental art from the community. But on August’s First Friday Art Walk, the venue will present a different type of flavorful expression with AugustFest: A Taste of Virginia Micro Brews, which will feature leading microbreweries throughout Virginia with representatives from each brewery giving patrons a little taste. The evening also will feature live music performances by Birds and Arrows, Brett Harris and Skylar Gudasz and the Ugly Girls. AugustFest is on tap for Gallery5 on Friday, Aug. 5, at 7 p.m. Free. gallery5arts.org.
