Re: “Excerpt: A New Book About the State Penitentiary Explores How the Electric Chair Came to Virginia

Old joke that was going around in 1984.

1st MAN: "What's the best kind of wood to burn these days?"

2nd MAN: "I don't know."

1st MAN: "Linwood."

Re: “Richmond Planned Parenthood Faces Growing IUD Demand

If Planned Parenthood types want "the government out of their bedroom" why do they demand that taxpayer dollars foot the bill for their services? The Left seems to think that the greatest threat to America is that some people don't want to pay for other people's contraceptives and abortions.

It's like fools on Twitter who ask "Now that Trump is in the White House, who's gonna pay for my contraceptives?"

How about you get a job and do that yourself? It's not that difficult to pony up ten bucks a month.

Re: “VCU Rally Shows Solidarity After Trump Immigration Orders

Secular leftists (of the SJW type) and political Islamists (of the Palestinian-Hamas type). Strange bedfellows, no?

Actually both are intrusive, meddling, and oppressive ideologies that would love to have the gun of government backing up their respective agendas.

Re: “A Neighborhood Friend, Shot Through Her Window

"Grandma, thats why you tell me dont stand at the window.

These are the sins of this city. That decent women and children must live in these wretched situations, and all too often, die in them.

Of course the anarchists and Marxist agitators who tear up Broad Street yelling "Fuck Trump" don't seem to care about Karon Williams, or the slew of murders in 2016.

I guess Ice Cube knew what he was talking about back in 1991. "Either they don't know, don't show, or don't care about what's going on in the hood."

Re: “Richmond Podcaster Responds to Trump by Playing More Music by Women

We ought not be so hard on Erin Gerety. It must be hard to promote a radio show that broadcasts at 1:00 AM on a Wednesday.

But I don't think most people give a crap if your show is "CURATED BY AN ACTUAL FUCKING WOMAN." Calm down. Unless the radio show devoted entirely to screamo?

Re: “Opinion: Maybe It's Time Chesterfield Elected Its Own Mayor

Stoney hasn't even done anything yet and the Finch says she's "envious."

Why? Why be envious of a glad-hander who has never held a job in his life besides working for the Party? Is it because he reminds you of Barack Obama? Is it because you'd prefer a reality TV election, like the Presidential and Richmond mayoral of 2016, to reasonable and informed government?

The Nancy Finches of the world moved to/stayed in Arrestafield because they didn't want to partake in the shenanigans, mostly involving crack cocaine and similar extracurricular activities, going down in Richmond back in the 1980's and 1990's. I have no issue with this. My issue is that now because a guy who reminds you of Obama becomes mayor of the same place you spend most of your time taking a crap on, you say you're envious.

Re: “VIDEO: "Richmond Grabs Back" Anti-Trump Protest

(Before Election)

RIGHTWING TRUMP SUPPORTER: If Trump don't win the election, then we'll raise hell. Get your guns, boys!

(After Election)

LEFTWING ACTIVIST HIPSTER: Trump won the election, it's time to raise hell. Get your guns, non gender conforming pre-post-op trans genderqueer boys!
