The reception for "Ixchel's Thread: Maya Weavings from the Bowdler Collection," featuring women's costumes from Guatemala start at 5 p.m. and runs through Dec. 9.



Ann Pollard Rowe will discuss "Weaving Lives and Destinies: Women's Costumes From Chimaltenago, Guatemala," at 4 p.m. at the Grace Street Theater. 828-1522.
