The crazy rock antics of Alien Ant Farm took the music world by storm when it released the 2001 hit, “Smooth Criminal.” After a few modest successes, the band unofficially broke up in 2007; it’s since re-formed with the original lineup — along with a remastered version of “Smooth Criminal” — and is hitting the country on its Anticipation Tour. The band will bring its wild energy and crazy stage personas when it performs at Cullen’s Cove at 6233 Mechanicsville Turnpike on Thursday, Aug. 4. Showtime is 7 p.m. $12. 559-6011.
