      <![CDATA[Parking is not the easiest thing to do in the Slip as it is. The best use of the property would have been to combine a monument with a parking deck. You could still have had your giveaway to huge corporate interests, since that's obviously so important to the city, but at least some local businesses would have benefited.

      <![CDATA[It's a Marriott with 210 rooms, meaning there will be 210+ copies of the Book of Mormon and the Bible within 200 feet of the monument to religious freedom. The Marriott's don't seem overly pushy of their faith but I still think it's still pretty funny.
