      <![CDATA[They did not accept a contract that would have reduced their wages and benefits? What kind of ungrateful person would decline such a generous offer.<br>
Seriously it is a disgrace that persons that have attended a University are working for such small fees.

      <![CDATA[A city the size if Richmond should be able to sustain a full-time professional symphony orchestra- the musicians are doing an excellent job of trying to maintain until negotiations are completed, as I hope they will be.<br>
<br>
The salary suggested is laughable- even $32,785 is hardly competative in today's market. <br>
What other job requires outside practice, instrument maintenance, and variable schedules for so little return?
