And they were openly willing to kill anyone who denied them that "right".

Thanks to the Great Lord God Almighty, they were defeated, and the United States of America was saved.

Today's "Confederates" are no more worthy of our respect than former Nazis who prance about in jack boots in parades across the world, celebrating their "proud heritage".
