      <![CDATA[I think an important part of the story that the baseball team and the city are not telling you is the fact that the placement of the Diamond has little to do with where the fans want it to go, and more to do with locating it in an area where the building can be used 12 months a year. In other words, the new diamond will likely house retail and office space that will be leased all year long creating a positive cash flow.

Not all 6,000 people are going to dinner before the game. But many will, and that number of people is not 6,000, and will not create the strain on traffic that an additional 6,000 people might cause if they all arrived at 5pm.
