      <![CDATA[Businesses should enjoy their profits after they have reimbursed the taxpayers for any costs associated with their business. As a citizen of Richmond I must pay real estate taxes, personal property taxes, registration taxes, sales tax, food tax, etc.  A business must pay a fair share too.

      <![CDATA[I'm not surprised by David Napier's comments. After all, he was opposed to the City's bus hub being located at Main St. Station because, as he put it in the pages of Style Weekly itself, he thinks people who ride public transportation are poor, criminal types unlikely or unable to spend money in the Bottom, and would just mess up the place.<br>
<br>
I'm not sure if his comments are reflective of willing obtuseness to fit his own views, ignorance of what the President ACTUALLY said in context (as opposed to the ridiculous Romney sound bite), or just plain stupidity.
