      <![CDATA[ArchitectureRichmond supports the revival of Richmond's trolley system so, naturally, I am very pleased at this news. After reading the plan I found other great strategies for encouraging urban development in Richmond such as adding a "complete street" policy.

      <![CDATA[Number 1 easiest and cheapest thing the City could do that would actually be "green" is to strip all mandatory car parking minimums out of the zoning code. Just stop it completely and let "the market" provide parking for people who want to pay for it.

      <![CDATA[The City of Richmond has one of the highest tax rates in the state ($1.20 per hundred) and as many as 80% of all houses are probably overassessed by the city. I bought my house in 1976 for $35,000 and the city say it is now worth $188,000.
