Nice informative article. A lot of the volunteers come across as being very passionate about PA as a whole and it's continuned existance, which is commendable.

Very much in contrast to this Gorgeous George character.

@Stripes78 - Lots of people across the country disagree with your point of view, and for very good reasons. Take, for example, this debate coverage from California's brand new 2nd Congressional District - produced by Access Humboldt, the nonprofit access corporation there.

But prior to my brief time, the Oregon Hill/musicians/hipster crowd in the 1980s often contributed videos that were almost on the level of "Portlandia."

      Ms. Sinclair -

Thank you so much for the time and thoughtfulness you spent on your Channel 95 story. It's rare to find a story on public access these days which takes the time to treat its subjects with respect, and to get even the rough details of the landscape correct.

I don't know firsthand the Channel 95 details, but having been in the access TV field over 30 years, I can tell you that your story is one of the best ones on the struggles of community television I've ever seen.

I've built a map of Virginia's community access TV providers - http://communitymediadatabase.org/node/246 - I haven't had Channel 95 there because it's managed by the cable operator, and that's a management-type class on which I'm presently missing data.
