      <![CDATA[Well, he's someone interesting, yet I need to warm up to him. What he offers so far though (especially on parking garages), it feels as if we have someone willing to go against the grain and ACTUALLY challenge ourselves to think deeper beyond what we are accustomed to as a city.

      <![CDATA[Sometimes it's good for things not to happen. Flynn might have been more combative in some cases than she needed to be, but she also went to great lengths to involve everyday citizens in the planning process, and stood up for what she and many Richmonders want the city to become against narrower interests.

      <![CDATA[All of the Rachel Flynn acolytes never mention the fact that her approach simply prevented things from happening by being som embattled. It wasn't just with council either, but other departments, while not addressing internal problems and barriers.
