      <![CDATA[I have always thought that Richmond's place in the history of not only this state, but in the history of this country was so important. And the writer is correct about the integrated society that we had, pre-civil war.

      <![CDATA[Actually, it was not settled this month. I believe the Supreme Court has some say in the matter.<br>
<br>
Although the events of 150 years ago did lead to the erosion of the 10th Amendment, it is still in the Constitution and until it is repealed, states have every right to bring suit to against federal policies the they deem not to be unfair, but un-Constitutional.
