...because despite Sue Taylor's assertion that Scientology is alive and well in Richmond, it sounds like it is neither alive nor well, and thus why the facility has closed with no replacement. Scientology needs to work harder on crafting more believable lies.

Have these people no sense of history? Don't they know that L. Ron, the founder, announced to several fellow SF writers and fans, at a con quite a few years back, that writing didn't pay enough; if you want to really rake in the cash, you needed to start a religion.

If only buying and operating empty buildings was "expansion", then I s'pose it'd be true.
Scientology membership/interest continues to dwindle rapidly.
The only real interest these days in scientology is why it has been allowed to operate and bilk people of money and destroy families and peoples lives
