There is absolutely nothing wrong with the use of the word "Squaw" it is an Algonkian language word used by many related tribes...it does NOT mean a woman's private parts...that is something promoted by a non Algonkian on Oprah Winfrey and that conversation began an effort to purge the word from place names...this is being fought by those who use this in their Native languages...here is one link for more on the subject but I have lots more from tribal experts and from my own tribe's usage...
