      <![CDATA[Detroit's problems were from management decisions to put profits above quality. Their overpaid top management who voted their own salaries and bonus's put revenue in their pockets instead of research and quality control.

      <![CDATA[In regards to the article 'Dissing Unions a Constitutional Right?' in the January 18, 2011 issue, we thank you for choosing to inform readers of an absolutely unnecessary bill. Where it is true that the cleverly constructed double speak of the 'right to work' statute "...forbids requiring workers to join unions as a condition of employment" aka "closed shop", it is important to point out that most Unions today do not require mandatory membership, even in states without a 'right to work' law.<br><br>The Industrial Workers of the World, an Industrial Union promoting Solidarity Unionism does not endorse the organizing of a closed shop in a previously unorganized shop with pre-existing workers.
