The parent (or family member) gives the child a bag of pot and in so doing robs him of his innocence and trust in the adults in his world.

Reid School officials, either though laziness or ignorance, punish the child for the transgressions of the parent.

Failing to report a crime that has happened on RPS property, Reid School officials and Supt. Brandon may have broken Virginia law.
