      <![CDATA[Mr. Robinson has offered to purchase a replacement tree and this information was provided to City Council when Councilman Samuels presented his proposal. Why should Mr. Robinson's property continue to be destroyed by the city-owned tree?<br><br>Maybe the next step is Mr. Robinson should consider suing the city for his property damage.

      <![CDATA[How about a compromisecut down the tree, but only if he rescinds his objection to putting a new tree well in front of his house and pays to plant new trees in all the tree wells around his property. That way, the neighborhood loses one tree but gets at least three new ones.
