<![CDATA[The ladies on the School Board must be doing quite a bit of nervous giggling these days thinking (and hoping) they have duped and defeated PH. Board chair Kim Bridges is suddenly gripped with "Godspeed" consciousness, but in reality she and her colleagues have failed to deal honestly with the PH people about the true condition of the building and they have failed to deliver a lease to the PH group.

<![CDATA[Godspeed: RPS Board Chairman Braxton and Board Member Carr kept their roles in advising the charter ground behind the scenes a secret from the administration and some of their colleagues. Had they been forthcoming with the roles they were playing and worked with their colleagues to foster an air of collaboration and cooperation that expected excellence of the RPS administration, I cannot help but think that a great deal of success could have been experienced by all parties.

This charter is worse off than the public schools, because at the end of the day, it will have no money since the RPS administration an school board continues to be DUPLICITOUS and deceive both the charter and the community about their true nature.

<![CDATA[Given the economic climate and McDonnell's recommendation for Richmond Public Schools to lose an additional $11 million, this is not the time to open a charter school that will cater to a small group of students. If all of these families made a joint effort to enter the same already existing neighborhood public school, education and enviroment will exponentially change for the better.
