<![CDATA[Um, can we talk about the fact that there is no route to Short Pump or even past Innsbrook? With all the development out there, all the retail and food service jobs that have popped up west of the city, it makes sense to have public transportation to that area!

<![CDATA[Annon VA, I DO care about the education of the inner city kids particularly those that live in the projects. I want them to have a good education, because I am sick of my tax dollars supporting them.

<![CDATA[Richmond Rez, I do not have all of the answers, but a good start would be a proper education in buildings that can relate to this century. I am aware the City is attempting to renovate, or build new, somewhere around 7 schools, but the City operates in excess of 60 schools, all of which are old and outdated.

<![CDATA[Richmond Rez, there are laws against that sort of thing, in fact there are also incentives to hire minorities, and I have been to Stony Point, I don't think anyone cleans the bathrooms.

<![CDATA[Oh, Glen, I thought the problem was that the people in the inner city just weren't shopping enough at Stony Point because there really is no way that the merchants in those hoity-toity shopping venues are going to hire inner-city blacks to do anything at all.... other than clean bathrooms and sweep floors, that is.

<![CDATA[You can provide bus service all over the state for people to get to and from work, but if the people you are trying to serve (inner city folks from the "projects") do not want to work legitimate jobs, you are wasting everyone's money. It is apparent by reading the news paper that many of these people prefer selling drugs and/or illegal weapons than the alternative of workin in or near the mall.
