I do declare - you make an important and positive point when you write that the Dems "could help us all out by getting rid of the criminals on their side of the aisle" - I agree and it is a shame and lost opportunity that they have not had the courage and wisdom to do so.       <![CDATA[The "grassroots" narrative of the tea party makes for good PR but it doesn't match the reality that its existence owes as much to an uncritical press and deep-pocketed donors as it does to informed citizen activism. Whether it's cash flow from the billionaire Koch bothers front group "Americans for Prosperity" or our local mine disaster maestro Blankenship, the tea party does not live up to its claim to grassroots activism.
