      <![CDATA[From where I sit, light pollution is a problem, but I've grown used to it. From 2nd St near the Lee Bridge, MWV adds some very nice lines to the cityscape.

      <![CDATA[I wail for the poor Louisa victims who lost their MWV jobs most likely due to the fact that this buliding was being built. I think the MWV employees are unhappy in this building because none of them who frequent the exercise and lunch rooms acknowledge me when I wave to them as I pass by on Tredegar.

      <![CDATA[I don't read every article he writes, but the ones I have read (which is a fair amount over the years) seem to portray Mr Slipek Jr as a proponent of classic design, perfect symmetry, and conventional method. He seems to be critical of anything that doesn't fit that preconceived mold.<br><br>I realise stepping outside of the structured box is something new for Richmond.

      <![CDATA[Jeff E - I think you misunderstood the intent of my comment...my opinion is that MWV would've been better off and more 'green' if they had stayed in their office on Broad or the one at The Boulders...both were already there and the company once occupied these buildings which will probably remain empty for years. I'm opposed to building new when there are so many existing empty office buildings.

      <![CDATA[Oh Anonymous... obviously someone forgot to tell you the erstaz suburban sprawl culture is quickly becoming passe. Why indeed build on a surface lot downtown in a prominent location by the river when MWV could have settled for anonymity in some giant suburban office park or better yet, leveled some more trees in Western Henrico/Eastern Goochland just to make your "hideous commute" a little more tolerable?
