      <![CDATA[&ldquo;I have always been very clear that if we built a gallery on my watch there would not be a single brick in the thing,&rdquo; Toscan says. &ldquo;We&apos;ve got enough brick on this campus and we were going to have a major architect do this thing and we&apos;re not going to hobble a major architect with brick.&rdquo;<br><br>It looks like Mr. Toscan's 'no brick' dream is not in step with the community or the investors.

      <![CDATA[You gotta be kidding me?  BIO TECH 10 - Art Building...Yuck! How about a 3 story brick building that looks like the old Daily Planet building with one of those snappy metal signs that says TRANTI ART GALLERY because in the future...alll things VCU will be named after Tranti.

      <![CDATA[The Anderson Gallery is also not wheelchair friendly. A new building should have been built decades ago.<br><br>I hope VCU keeps the Anderson Gallery name - it has a long history (back to the 1930s) when the original Anderson Gallery was the FIRST art gallery in Richmond to show "Modern" art.
