Re: “Official Responds to City Mechanic Complaints

Still waiting to see the Mechanics Positions posted on the City Website !
Winter is coming quickly and there are not enough mechanics to keep the snow removal equipment in the streets .
It's all good , let's spend $200 million on a ballpark project in the worst possible place .

Re: “Official Responds to City Mechanic Complaints

Guess what other problem this $4.5 million dollar facility has !?! The Heat Doesn't Work Either !!!
The shops at The Boulevard & Hopkins Rd. might be old but they were equipped with lifts , overhead reels to dispense fluid & the Heat Worked !
Winter is almost here & we are severely short staffed ! ( 15-17 positions need to be filled & are not even being advertised )
Before you know it snow season will be upon us and you will not have enough mechanics to keep the snow removal equipment on the road !
City Hall spent Millions of dollars for The Redskins to be here for 3 weeks , but say they have no money to hire people to keep the streets safe & passable in inclement weather ! When the equipment breaks down , and it will , they do not have enough staff to keep them on the road !
Hire some people now and try to prevent an already bad situation from getting worse !
There are also people here now willing to work overtime to get things done and have been denied that .
Oh , and Where is all of the money going from those 15 positions that have not been filled ?
Man it's Cold In This Shop !!!
