It depends on what one means by "objective." Slavery, for example, is objectively evil. Any museum representation of it that does not at some level recognize this reality fails its intellectual and moral responsibilities.

Excellent analysis. Hayter's point that African-American cities and districts "were torn asunder" is a good one. One might add that the inheritors of the conservative white politicians responsible for the "deepening marginalization" of these communities cynically blame the residents for their impoverishment while simultaneously crowing that things have changed. Justice Roberts' willful blindness to the contrary, many things have gotten worse.
