Rik had a gentle sweetness and a very slow,drawling way of speaking. I believe he sold marijuana
around the VCU campus area. When cocaine came on the scene with it's viscous, organized crime dealers, perhaps a small time pot dealer had to go. What sort of "robber" stabs someone 40 times? A coked-up one I guess. Or was that crime a warning to "amateur" dealers? Listen young ones: Don't even THINK about using or certainly not about dealing. That way lies destruction and the death of all your dreams.
