Re: “Shamrock Video Stirs Debate

Also, all of you saying; I hope you never need the police when a thug is at your house. Guess what, the police have no constitutional directive to protect you, or in other words; the cops are not bound by the law to protect the citizens they serve. Do not believe me? Look up Castle Rock vs. Gonzales (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castle_Rock_v…). This is police brutality plan and simple, and the fact that many of you are saying this is okay is just sick. Most of you seem to be seriously lacking in your understanding of your Constitutional Rights. Of course, I am sure most of y'all are dyed in the wool Liberals, which would explain y'alls idiocy.

Re: “Shamrock Video Stirs Debate

Once the officers have Mr. Dotson in cuffs. These LEOs continue to physically assault him. Okay, so the guy got in the cops face and tapped his shoulder. Arrest him for w/e, interfering w/ an investigation. However, you can clearly see that once the man is in cuffs, the officers continue to beat him, and choke him. This is unacceptable. By Mr. Dotson's account he was the DD, so he was not drunk. Which, if the cops did their job; they would have proof that he was drunk. I am going to guess that he was not drunk, he didn't look drunk. However, we all know nothing will be done to this officer. If you were in cuffs for some BS, would it be okay to beat you? Most of the comments on here are disgusting. The officer was clearly in the wrong. When the police come to your house, take your guns, and beat you for refusing. Remember what you posted on this comment board.
