Re: “With Joy Garden's Closing, a Richmond Neighborhood Loses a Food Landmark

I have always had amazing service at Joy Garden. I still eat there and need to go back one last time. My grandmother used to take me there as a child and I still go to this day. I will truly miss them.

Re: “Getting Wilder

Gov. Wilder, I was in elementary school when you were governor. We were proud to have you. However, after leaving office you have been one colossal failure. You tormented Richmond for years. It is time to retire. We no longer must tolerate your misteps.

Re: “Mysterious Odor Drives Students from Classroom

Things happen. I get that. I can live with that. I am more concerned over the employee's fear to report on situations. There was another article in Style about conditions at another elementary school (I think it was Carver). Employees feared retribution there too. I cannot blame employees for not reporting issues for fear of losing their livliehood. However, the new superintendent needs to get to the bottom of this now!

Re: “Resting Place

He was a resident of Massachusetts. This was Massachusetts responsibility. Instead.. she secretly brought the body into Virginia and bury the body. If she thought that she was doing the right thing... it would not have been public. The hurt this man caused Bostonians is deplorable and she has tarnished this great commonwealth with his body. I guess she thought she could be one of his seventy virgins...... He is not even that desperate.

Re: “Confederate Flag Flap Flies Higher

General Grant did not own slaves. He owned a slave that was given to him by his father in law and he gave him his freedom. Honestly, I believe that everyone has the freedom of speech.. good and bad. I do not want anyone to take that right away from me and I will not infringe on someone else's rights.

Re: “Toppling Woody

I can tell you that I voted for Woody in 2004 or 5. I will not be voting for him this time. Woody has proven that he has no ethics.
