There's plenty of craft lagers out there if you want them, and there's also plenty of other styles that aren't hop bombs or high ABV. The fact is that the craft industries primary market base is not light lager drinkers, so it isn't the majority of the product they put in the market. And lagers and pilsners are outside the actual production capabilities of most small breweries as well. They require more complicated equipment and longer production times than most can afford to deal with in any real scale. You want a good American lager? Yuengling and National Bohemian are craft lagers technically, and are both from states within 100 miles. Personally if I want an American Lager, I drink PBR, they've had that sh!t on lock down for some time now.
Boycott? Seriously? Thats the least productive/most destructive thing you could possibly do to the theatre community. Lots of people have left the fold because of Carol and other tenured members of FTP over the years. Maybe its just time to change.
