Re: “Passion and Regret in the Kitchen

I received a chocolate fountain as a gift when they were all the rage. I found (part of) it recently in my basement and it took forever to figure out what it was. It's never been used.

Re: “Sally Bell’s Future in Limbo?

Oh, no, hell no. No. Just no. VCU should not be messing with Sally Bells, ferpetesake, that's not cool. Although would be swell to have them in Carytown, blessedly VCU-free (so far).

Re: “Inward and Upward

White flight created West Broad Village, and all of Short Pump. From a development point of view, new construction is easier than urban rehab, and, God knows, most developers have sworn off beating their heads against the City of Richmond (except the Redskins, but they have enough money). Would have been nice if some of this density could have been within City limits, where it's supposed to be, instead of fabricating a (mostly) monolithic faux urban in the pasture lands. Good article.
