Re: “No Piersol, No Peace”
I grew up in Richmond. I was a theatre major at VCU. I was a student for one semester of Janet Wilson. I saw House of Yes at Firehouse. I remember it's founding and studied it as an example of how to start a theatre. I was excited for the arts in Richmond and had I stayed in the area as a theatremaker, would have definitely patronaged and participated more. As an somewhat outsider, I am sad and shocked (and a little amused) to see Slings and Arrows: Richmond Edition playing out. This Board of Directors looks like fools. They should find a way to save this debacle or resign.
