Four years to complete? That sounds absolutely insane along with Mr. McNally's comment regarding lack of development interest. Obviously this project is languishing and needs to be transferred to a good quality developer. It is a prime site and I would have to guess that if the word went out that it was available it would be purchased and cleaned up faster then four years. It seems that the powers that be want to hold this property back for whatever ridiculous reason.
Re: “Ticky Tax”
And why is the government of Virginia discouraging the purchase and use of hybrids? No this tax does not make any sense. Shouldn't the government be encouraging vehicles that pollute less and use less gas? How about a fee on the huge suv's that are getting 13 mpg like Yukon's and Suburbans?
